KOSS emerged champions after overcoming Nyinahin Catholic SHS and T.I. Amass Fomena who placed 2nd and 3rd respectively. Toase managed 4th position while T. I. Amass Kumasi placed 5th with KNUST SHS placing 6th.
The keenly contested quiz competition in English Language, Social Studies and Current Affairs saw two different sets of 6 schools battle each other for a top three finish qualification to the final.

After three rounds of competitive exercise the following six schools emerged as finalists for the final phase;
T.I. Amass Ksi, T.I. Amass Fomena, KOSS, TOSS, KNUST and Nyinahin Catholic SHS to set up an exciting finish.
After close of the competition in the grand finale, Konongo Odumasi emerged as the 2016 ACME QUIZ CHAMPIONS of the Ashanti Region taking over the mantle from St. Monica's SHS who disappointingly failed to make it to the finals.
Nyinahin Catholic emerged 2nd with an awesome performance whilst T. I. Amass Fomena placed 3rd. TOSS managed 4th position with Amass Phobia and KNUST picking the 5th and 6th slots.
The top three will be honoured at the opening ceremony of the Ashanti Regional Students Representative Students Week celebrations.
