The just ended 2016/17 GPL was ended without a major headline sponsor.
GN Bank, who are the sponsors of the Division One League have refused to extend their three years contract with the Ghana FA.
Ahead of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League, the Executive Committee of the FA are seeking to the rebrand the Premier League to attract sponsorship for the Premier League.
In an interview with Accra based Asempa FM, he said, “The mandate for getting sponsorship for the League lies in the bosom of the executive committee but they are not working.
“I can say without fear or favour that not a single club will remain in zone one to compete in the Division One League next season “, he added.
